Whipped Avocado, Honey and Olive Oil Hair Mask

If you had told me two years ago that I would be blogging about how to make face masks and hair masks … I would probably laugh in your face…. but now making hair and face masks is one of my favorite things to do, they are fast and easy to make .. but most important, they are all organic! I am going to share with you one of my favorite masks!

This mask is for your hair and it is AMAZING … seriously! This mask made my hair thick and extremely healthy. It is a  Whipped Avocado, Honey and Olive Oil Hair Mask you can use this as a face mask too if you want, but the smell of the avocado is not one of my favorite smells so I stick to using it as a hair mask

Below I have listed all you to know for getting started!

Ingredients

1 ripe avocado, pitted and scooped out

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons honey

Tools

Bowl and hand-mixer or stand-mixer

Hair clip (for longer hair)

Shower cap

Hair dryer or a sunny day

Directions

In a small mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, add in the avocado, olive oil and honey. Whip on high until light in color and smooth.
Dampen hair with water. Spread mask onto hair, paying particular attention to the ends (feel free to rub it in a bit). Clip your hair onto the top of your head, cover with shower cap, and heat—either using a hair dryer for 15 minutes or by sitting in the sun for 30-45 minutes.

Remove shower cap, rinse out mask, and then wash and condition hair as usual. I will make a side note that it would be best to let your hair air dry after this hair mask. Other than that, this is all you guys need to know! I hope you all give this a try and be sure to let me know what you think! – Gabi Mae
