One of the many joys I’ve had in life is to have had the opportunity to live in several states. Of course this has in turn given me the opportunity to try out different, delicious, and delightful foods. I will be giving very brief reviews of a few of my favorites – partly because I don’t really know how to review food, and partly because I really hope you try some of these places, if you have the chance, and form your own opinion.
I’m going to begin with the general area of Upstate New York, where one can buy Hoffman hotdogs and salt potatoes. Seriously, it’s one of the few things NY has done right. (I’m not hating! It’s just that the disgusting winter negates most positives) In the last 7 years, I have not been able to partake in the fantasticness that is salt potatoes and Hoffman hotdogs. Is there really any other way to have a hotdog but for it to be a Hoffman grilled on a toasted bun with savory salt potatoes on the side? I think not. My fellow New Yorkers will know what I’m talking about. Everyone else, venture North don’t think about it, just do it. And while you’re there, stop in at Colosse Cheese and get some fresh cheese curd. Your day will undoubtedly be amazing. – Vicky
A major downer to finishing this post? I’m officially hungry.
